My daughter is having a birthday party today, so there going to be twelve screaming kids running around here soon. Pray for me...

Oh. She turns 8 tomorrow

Damn, I was about to say how dope the weather is and that you should try to get to the beach if possible.

Condolences.

A different kind of Sunday morning. I woke up to banging noises, like someone was doing renovations somewhere in the building. About an hour later, my neighbor called and asked if I was hearing the same thing she was. One of our neighbors has serious mental health problems, so we went to her door and could hear the banging coming from inside her apartment.

Sometime last year, she started throwing away her furniture, clothes (cut into pieces), kitchen appliances, etc. A few weeks ago, we found her bed in the garbage room. Another neighbor saw her the other day charging her phone in the hallway - apparently, she doesn’t have electricity in her apartment anymore. She’s also thrown away some things that belong to the building.

Anyway, we ended up calling the police. She wouldn’t open the door for them, so they had to call the maintenance guy to bring a key. I spent about half an hour chatting with the officers - about the city’s drug policy (they weren’t happy), about police dogs and how they’re trained (the other officer has a police dog living with him), and what they thought was the worst neighborhood. Nice guys. It takes three years to become a police officer here, and only a small percentage make it into training. So I think our police officers are quite different from their US counterparts - though I could be wrong.

After 30 minutes, a guy arrived with the key. They opened the door, but she had the safety chain on and wouldn’t take it off, so the police had to cut it to get inside. I left when the maintenance guy arrived, so I didn’t see what happened inside the apartment or when they took her out. But the police took her away. I'm pretty sure she was in psychosis. I hope she gets help - and I hope she doesn’t stab me when she comes back.

oh dude i had a similar situation i think it was 2019 with a woman who lived in my floor too. She was fucking crazy, super violent, liked to sang karaoke at night, just impossible to live with.

For some reason, she feared me a lot, not sure why! but she was terrfied so she never messed with me, but she threatened other with knifes.

When she moved out, in the pandemic i heard noises of stuff breaking, like glass and other things. It was loud.

I was given an award today from my clients. I guess I’ve been nicer to them than I realize.

Tends to happen as you get older. My wife is forever passing out on the couch during the day. It stopped for a while after I got a calander made where each month was a photo of her passed out, but it's back

Got to work super early and ended up with someone rear-ending me in the parking lot. If only I had left a few minutes later. This is why I love working from home.

Woke up early to watch the Celtics then spent the rest of the day in the worst mood possible.
