I've watched season 1 twice, and I've seen nothing that makes me think she wouldn't feel guilt about him, but putting him aside, she should be racked with guilt over her daughter. An empire that just slaughtered an entire planet worth of people isn't going to think twice about trying to torture information out of her and killing her when she has nothing to give. Mon must know that, and for this to all happen without even a mention of her guilt, is weird to me.

I can’t explain it exactly, but continuously turning to an interview with one of the many people involved in making a text and using one thing he said to try and disprove an interpretation of something that wasn’t spelled out in the show feels a lot like getting out the rule book to try and convince us that a dog isn’t allowed to play basketball. No one cares.

You can infer a lot from her performance. Just because it isn't literally, explicitly said, doesn't mean it's not there. Maybe in the next arc she'll stand over Perin's body, check his pulse, and shake her head.
