These are absolutely wild
id probably switch GnR and Bad Religion. "Fight to get it back again" sung by Greg? graffin might actually sound convincing. and hearing axl screaming "she's lightening bolt" would at least be entertaining.

Sirens sucks, it can only be saved by a black female singing it. Busta Rhymes is my favorite rapper.

Wow Indeed

Now playing in my head is Axel Rose belting out
" I'm gonna see my friend
going to see my friend , make it go away
I'm sick of everything
going to see my friend
make it go away"

Can you hear that?
I can hear Axl Rose singing a lot of pearl jam songs now that I think about it

What if U2 covered Unthought Known, Amongst the Waves, and Lightning Bolt?

that's because Axl Rose was the singer of Pearl Jam before Eddie (by that I mean I always thought Andy Wood sounded like Axl Rose).

I think Gillian Welch could do a pretty great cover of Thin Air and/or Light Years. Heck, now that I think of it, listening to the way she handles her rage in Everything Is Free makes me want to hear her and Dave cover something like Rearviewmirror.

This one definitely fits under the "cover versions I'd love to hear" category, for me. I love Comes Then Goes and I think it fits Ed really well. But, GOTdamn, I'd love to hear Brandi sing it. :heartbeat:

If you wanna hear Bad Religion play extremely shitty songs just listen to The New America

This is maybe the best example so far that's in the original spirit of the thread.

A song I don't love by Pearl Jam, but I personally would love if it was a Chappell Roan song. Not just a cover, but an actual song by her.

I love that call, FJ

Again, this fits the "cover" angle not the "I'd like this better if it was by another artist" idea, but... I'd love to hear Alanis cover that song.
