What a fun show. Gods Dice would have pushed it over the edge. Just love they were even considering it

Great show but I think night 1 was better from top to bottom. Something was off during every song after Wreckage. There were times when it felt like Ed was doing his own thing and conflicting with whatever the band was playing. Lots of lyric flubs and I kept hearing off-key notes from someone's guitar. Wishlist was a momentum-killer. The call and responses must die at this point--they work about 5% of the time.

Those nitpicks aside, a great night and week in Nashville.

Too bad as that setlist looks amazing

Agree about Wishlist
100% agree about call/responses

Disagree about N1 being better. I’ll agree that there were fewer performance issues, but the set list and especially the vibe last night broke the gauge.

Love RVM being so early and shorter. That drag-out in the middle just goes on too long and it was perfect last night.

That was the best Black I’ve ever seen. Frampton joining them for it was a very special moment and he fucking killed it. He really enjoyed playing with them and the band loved having him join them. Glad to see he’s still able to play.

Yes, Insignificance was tuned down but it maintained the energy. Which was great after Wishlist. Was this the first Binaural tune for the tour? If it couldn’t be Light Years, I’m glad it was this.

Other than Just Breathe, the encore just kept the energy going. Really surprised God’s Dice was scratched since the new Pope was chosen and he’s a Chicago boy. Hadn’t gotten Crazy Mary in a while so that was nice. I’ll take Sonic Reducer any time they want to play it. Ed did get lost coming into the last verse tho.

It was a great night and I don’t think anyone left there feeling anything was left on the table. Just tremendous and as I said last night, a top 5 show for me. It’s amazing a band that’s been around for 34-35 years can still have nights like that.

Plus, they’re obviously recognizing the March Madness winner Hail, Hail this tour. This is the most love it’s had on a tour since when, 96? 98? And they’re absolutely SMASHING it.

Bummed to leave our friends, the wease’s. they are the best. Wish we could go on to Raleigh with them.

Met the bodysnatcher for a few minutes before the show. Will have to try to have a beer with him sometime. He seemed like a good dude.

All in all, Nashville was very good to us.

It was great to hang with the dads again. Such great people. Always a blast.

Tried to meet up with bodysnatcher, but as noted before, he’s quite elusive…

:heartbeat: :heartbeat: :heartbeat: :heartbeat: :heartbeat: to seeing Insignificance in the set. Though this presumably means I've no shot at hearing it next weekend.

To be fair, all photos were taken with Mrs Wease’s phone.

All calls were made with Mrs Dad’s camera
