Won't ship till June, and already have the taste of buyer's remorse in my mouth.
Arguably, Binaural is the album with the best outtakes in the discography.
Cranking out these blurays with no bonus material (a la Vitalogy) is kinda 'meh'.

there IS the promise that the BOB-mixed songs open up a bit. Presumably Josh Evans had the raw tracks to work with, and not just stereo stems?

Punching above my weight
To my ears, the Vitalogy bluray sounds awesome. Better than the DM bluray.
So I have high hopes for Binaural, which I consider to be one of their better sounding albums.

There's something to be said about first impressions and their format, right?
I wore out a Vitalogy cassette tape way before I ever got the CD, and by the time I got the vinyl I was mostly listening to live versions.
With this in mind, it makes sense that a new Hi-Res stereo mix would make a good impression.

*A bit off-topic I know, but I had nowhere else to put that.

Even if I had a way to play a Blu-ray Disc, I don't think I have the speaker or headphones capabilities to hear Spatial Audio. So who cares.

The Raleigh skate decks came in 3 different colors, so people who might have just bought one, all bought 2 (the limit), so of course, those sound out WAY sooner than they should have. I still don't understand why that outdoor merch stand doesn't have tighter limits on stuff. It'd be nice to see them limit the posters and high end collectibles to 1 per person. If you want a bunch, you have to buy a ticket.
