the bar next door to where i live closed down this past saturday, thank god. last weekend, there was a shooting in the parking lot, which was the 5th shooting at the bar since November. Cars were typically drag racing around 2am down the street outside the bar. so glad it's closed, what a f'ing nuisance. all of the neighboring restaurants and bars are so excited too.

Had a shooting for a high couture designer from Argentina. We went to this 70s hotel in Buenos Aires that seemed stuck in time, very nice and cool but full of details from those years. It was cool but also it felt a little scary.

Went out for an anniversary dinner with my wife and kids on Friday (11 years), then yesterday had an old friend from high school come and stay, and we went out to a basketball game. Today - had a storm roll through. By mid afternoon the wind had died out, so grabbed a board and went surfing for a couple of hours.

Pinched nerve in my neck is down to about 20% as painful as it was last week, but still giving me trouble. Can walk or lie down, but nothing inbetween for more than a few minutes. This physical therapy better work.

Not following the news/market for tour week has done wonders for my mental health. Might make this permanent
