S1 Really good
S2 Great
S3 At least we got "Napkins"
Kinda meh on season 3, with the good episodes earning a re-watch.

for me S3 was better than 2. Way more experimental on its narrative and interesting while S2 has a very awful soap opera finale.

A movie guy here i trust, just nailed and buried the 'thing' with the Bear we all seem to have. He's right.
I don't think longer episodeformat, as is usual with US dramas would work it all for The Bear, now that I see it like this.
PS congrats to the Bear cast and crew! deserved all the Emmys once again!
I bought a kilo of roundroast to celebrate, gonna make some proper beef sandwiches with all the doings tomorrow! Might even make the bread myself!

Re: The Bear (FX/Hulu)
Just finished watching this for the first time - I really think this is excellent. I enjoyed all 3 seasons, at times Season 3 just felt like it was setting up future seasons, though.
The only cringey part was re-using that famous Mad Men, Don Draper line, "I don't think of you at all," from a mile away. I said it out loud before McHale said it out loud.
Did they show how Carmy got the scar on his hand? They showed it on screen several times, but I don't remember it happening.
A+

Well planted Mecca
Hope you’re right vg but they can get a fifth from it.
Is Carmy ever gonna be happy? No.
Can we watch a series about the stresses of winning Michelin stars and opening restaurants globally?
Yes.
