Most rational way to view it is the final shot is bix and the baby. We know Cassian is already dead at this point and this is a year later. Baby is a new hope. For her.

We do not know Cassian is dead at this point. The last shot could be happening simultaneously with Cassian leaving for Kafrene.

It's big for 3 months, but when your making a show, you take whichever baby you can get.@SkitchP wrote:

Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

Re: Star Wars: Andor (Disney+)
I agree it's big for 3 months. But realistically, it could be canonically 6 or 7 months. Hell if we really wanna get in the weeds with "how years work" things, Bix could have left in January BBY2, and we established Rogue One takes place on Star Wars Kwanzaa BBY1, so if Bix was 4 months pregnant when she left, that kid might be like almost 2.B wrote:It's big for 3 months, but when your making a show, you take whichever baby you can get.@SkitchP wrote:

I wish we would have gotten a longer scene showing Dedra getting taken to prison. Just to let her show a range of emotion about it

And seeing her find out about all the stuff that happened after she was arrested. How she was absolutely right about everything, and her incompetent co-workers let it fall through their hands.E.H. Was just reading about this. It’s a cool nod to George but the whole design of that prison was a massive nod to THX Which I’ve still never watched.

Maybe. Cass meets awakened K2 at the end of the episode, minutes after finding out she’s left him.
And K2 seems to be a year old and ‘socialised’ and playing cards with them in the next episode.
Rogue one happens over a short time. Four days? Three? If he’s not dead while she’s standing in that field, he’s about to be. Maybe she’s standing in the field as it happens?
It’s all poetry. It rhymes.

And now look up Bloody Sunday in Derry or the Dublin and Monaghan bombings Or just check in on Palestine and see what all this is reflecting back at us. Our own lights.
Or just look up a band called kneecap who pointed it out and were right and are still.
