Yeah I don't understand why this doesn't get more appreciation. I put it down to the fact that it's pretty indicative of the album it's on and that's where it fails, it just reeks of Backspacer and I think that's what puts some people off. It's just a guess but I think if it were on a different record where it could be considered more of a diamond in the rough rather than the epitome of what the whole album sounds like (and not bumped down to penultimate track, sandwiched between two very unlively songs, either) then it may have done better.stip wrote:nice to see FoN on a list!
I think it'd make a great live staple too, but it doesn't look like that's ever going to happen.

It has a fucking I V VI IV chord progression which is the single greatest cliche ever to make its way into a Pearl Jam trackCupidStunt wrote:Yeah I don't understand why this doesn't get more appreciation. Yep, I didn't know what those chords were but I did know I'd heard them a million times before.fishbob wrote:It has a fucking I V VI IV chord progression which is the single greatest cliche ever to make its way into a Pearl Jam trackCupidStunt wrote:Yeah I don't understand why this doesn't get more appreciation.
