I am. Those books might have saved reading as a leisure activity for an entire generation across the world.

FAKE , but would have been an epic choice if they are going with a slightly younger Snape.

That would have been fantastic casting, but could see him not wanting it.

Hopefully keeps the spirit of Coltrane's portrayal alive

Will they have access to John Williams’ score? If not, this is pointless.

In 'The Cursed Child' Hermione is described as non-white, so I doubt this will receive the same backlash as the Snape casting. She looks like a good fit.

That kid they cast to play Harry might be the most punchable-faced kid I've seen in a long, long time.

All three seem like good choices.

Yeah, but the Ron actor doesn't give awkward, he gives 'do you know who my father is?'

So much of the OG cast from the film series are so iconic, not just because that's all we've known, but just because of how perfectly cast they were. I'm rooting for these little booger-eaters. I hope they knock it out of the park. But I do not envy their task ahead.

I haven’t read the books but from what I understand isn’t that the point?

I did not get that from the books at all, no. Malfoy is the punchable one. Maybe Ron.

I guess it depends on what sort of punchable face it is, whether it’s someone vile or someone who you just want to hide under the stairs.

Good point. But, to be fair, having a universally punchable face and the Dursley's thinking your face is punchable are very different things.
This kid doesn't look vile. He just looks like the kind of kid you want to punch. I mean, just look at him!

And I can say that because I have an extremely punchable face.
