Jeff Ament (center left), of the band Pearl Jam, following the delivery of a rocking performance in support of his masterpiece album, "Lightning Bolt", ensures that lead signer, Eddie Vedder, understands who is the true artistic leader of the group. Drummer Matt Cameron (right) exits the stage after receiving the same lesson from Mr. Ament.

From that we learned you aren't in advertising at least

Guys, you're all making jokes, but Jeff dropped his fucking battery pack on Boom's organ. I'm still not convinced he's taking the stage tonight. Seriously! Battery pack! Organ! This band is fucking over. Ed should have thought twice before leaving Ed off of his 1,000th band intro.
Everything's perfectly all right now. We're fine. We're all fine here, now, thank you. How are you?

so much speculation and so gossipy...thread done.
A message board can only thrive and reach its full potential via speculation and gossip.
But only the kind of speculation and gossip we allow!
Honestly, I fail to see why a band member storming off stage in front of 10s of thousands of fans is off-limits for discussion; the 10C is, as usual, being ridiculous, and the reason they gave is as ridiculous as the idea that their vinyls were defective due to their high quality...

Censorship has no place on Pearl Jam's message board, especially - and this is a wild guess - because the band's leader is very much against media/political censorship, and all about having us "do our research" and being amazed by what we find. For example, balls.

What is the reason they are shutting it down?
Same reason they shut down discussion normally. It is up to the 10C to decide what is our business and what isn't.

Ironically the 10C is run by someone who got the job because of being Jeff's friend.
We have rules too, but they're pretty heavy-handed over there. You have to be pretty far out of line over here before we do anything other than tell you stop being a dickhead.
