We went at 5:30. My wife and I are close to 50, but we were easily the youngest pups in the theater. The oldest living couple not in assisted living were in the row in front of us. He had a cane. When she commented to him, which was often, he’d yell, “What?!” It really amused me. His wife went to the bathroom and was gone for 25 minutes. An usher brought her back. Wasn’t exactly Penelope and Odysseus, but the reunion was cute. Man, old white folks talk like all black folks at the movies.

And the movie was great. Appropriate ending. Edith was the mvp. I teared up a bit at the end. Not ashamed.

Glad to hear. I was mildly worried another movie would be too much, glad you enjoyed it. We’ll see it this will. Btw, Edith is always the mvp!
