I thought it was so weird what a big deal they made out of "don't let them dictate the terms of the fight, lean into your strengths, FIGHT LIKE A GIRL" during her training montage and then almost completely abandoned that angle for the remainder of the movie

I liked how the whole fight "like a girl" thing consisted of just hitting people in the balls a lot, and absolutely nothing else. Equality achieved.

I was pretty bored by it. Steadfastly refused to do anything new. It's a hit or miss series, and this one had a lot more misses. Kinda weird to put Ana de Armas in it then film her like a goblin. Also, Wick's presence kinda sabotaged her character a few times.

I feel bad I didn’t get to the theater for this. It’s fans like me that will keep this from getting a sequel. Too bad. I really enjoyed it.

I’ve never seen Ana in anything before. She’s a little bit Julia Ormand and a little bit Linda Cardinelli. I thought she was great. Wish I’d gone to this instead of MI8.

Finally watched it last night. That was a lot of fun. Even if Ana didn't convey having fun, I sure did.
Kudos to this production, they could've easily gone the "Wick flick, but now way sexier" route, instead they went the badass route, classy.
De Armas brings it. The fight choreography is at Wick level. No huge stunts, but I loved and rewound this scene immediately:

I was pretty skeptical when it got announced, pleasantly surprised and just like the other Wick flicks... I'll re-watch for sure.

Lots to love here. Fight scenes were fantastic. As mentioned, the grenades sequence: creative and brutal. Very well done.

I had a good laugh at the dinner plates fighting with Eve and the restaurant chef.

The flame thrower fight was pretty great. Though some of the edits were a little sloppy as the face of the stunt woman was pretty clear in a few shots.

Norman Reedus' character was just out of place. Couldn't change his look as he still has Walking Dead commitments and if he was supposed to be from that small town that the X clan is from, he sure didn't look or speak like 'em. And how the hell

was he still alive?? They surely wouldn't have just left him there without checking if he was actually dead.

Biggest thing for me was that I felt having Wick coming in at the end was totally unnecessary. That whole act could have been written just as well without him in it. Having him in the first part of the movie to make the cameo was fine to tie the movies together. I get the feeling the movie company thought that he needed a bigger part to give the movie legitimacy.

I do hope they give her a sequel. She earned it with what she put into this movie.

I've seeing a lot of headlines with many movies "bombing" this year. although some were legit bad, I don't think it's the case here.

The theater going experience isn't exactly what it used to be. Many people seem to be fine waiting for movies to appear on streaming or just available to rent at home, which doesn't come long after the theatrical release. That hits the movie revenue numbers.

also, the theatres themselves have something to do with this too. Some tickets are 25$, which is the cost of a 1 month subscription service. Add in food and it's an expensive night. Many pass on that and rightly so.

Then there's people. Some have no social consciousness whatsoever. Between talking loud, taking out their phones, even taking phone calls and just general dogshit behavior, I can see why many people are happy to wait to watch new movies at home.

Once they full run is done, I think the numbers for this movie will be decent.
