What are the terms for submitting an original song? Do I need to be singing? Do I need to be performing all instruments on my own? Did I need to write the lyrics?

you just need to be involved in the process. You can be playing in some capacity, or it can even be a song you wrote that someone else performs, I suppose.

I'd be down for it.

Kinda bummed that I missed the cover contest (again). I read Gen-PJ daily, but Other Bands only sporadically, and didn't see any of the posts until the Finals announcement. (I was especially shocked when I noticed how long it had been running. Made me wonder about my eyes.)

im in. have tons of recordings wth various bands over the years..

i'm not really into the competition aspect of it but i can contribute a few exhibition songs. my band is recording some songs in the near future when schedules allow for it so i should have some stuff from that.
