Probably should be in the all things horror thread, but here you go:

dave's been doing that for a couple of years. i have a theory that it was willie nelson's idea b/c dave started covering it right after playing a willie nelson tribute. my favorite song writer covering my other favorite song writer with a song that was in my wedding. kinda awesome.

i've been hearing dmb cover 'severed hand' in my head for years. hopefully willie nelson has the same idea.

Dancing Nancies is a legit great song. Probably my second (or third?) fav DMB song. :heartbeat:

 it's my second favorite dave song, and way easier to play than most of his songs. it's amazing he can turn something so simple into something so giant and profound.

i play 'just breathe' the way dave matthews does b/c i have no idea what eddie vedder is doing with his right hand.

I remember when Napster was happening, there was a popular file floating around labeled Dave Matthews Band - Daughter cover.
It actually was just a live performance of Daughter by Pearl Jam.

Ah, yes. The intentional mislabel troll era.

"Stuck In The Middle With You" by Steelers Wheel circulating widely as Bob Dylan.
"A Horse With No Name" by America all over the place as Neil Young.
"I'm Said The Goat Just Died Today" by The Frogs as a John Lennon demo, but to a lesser extent...I'm surprised people didn't believe that one too.

Those were the days.

I wonder if Matt is a huge fan of Edge of Seventeen and that's what inspired him to write In The Moonlight.
