I'm not trying to win, bro. I did a ball-buster. I did a lil bust. That's all.

Gunn directed both the best MCU movie and the best DCEU movie. Even if what we've seen so far doesn't seem great, I doubt it will be an all-out disasterepilogue wrote:I feel like that's the absolute best case dream scenario. Re: Superman: Legacy (2025)
I hear you, man. But this movie looks God awful. The dialogue is cringe. The VFX feel a decade old. There are a billion characters.Jorge wrote:Gunn directed both the best MCU movie and the best DCEU movie. I hope you're right. I'm routing for it. But yikes...

That's actually fair, Jorge. 3.5/5 will be worth a watch.
I'm sorry I yelled.

It’s durds lecturing you how to feel. Always a great way to interact with people.Ello Sailor wrote:I assure you it's not that deep. There's no reason you should abandon support you've shown me privately just because I did a bad bit.

I find the lack of edge and realistic grounding appealing.

Re: Superman: Legacy (2025)
i rewatched MoS yesterday and it is every bit as good as i recall.
MoS took place over what, 3 days since he learned of his heritage while in antartica? this movie is supposed to take place in a week with him already established as superman.
they are definitely cramming extra characters in this and i hope it doesnt take away from anything
also anyone who says this is a better casting of supes than henry is insane

Re: Superman: Legacy (2025)
from that interview:
¨One of your big innovations here is the sci-fi Silver Age Superman stuff — robots, etc. — that has never been in a live-action film.
Yeah, I think that’s the biggest tonally novel thing about this film. And it really is based on the tone of [2000s comic book series] All-Star Superman in a lot of ways. And taking that tone into a cinematic realm is not the usual thing for a superhero movie, or for any movie. So I really was thinking a lot when making the film about graphic novels more than movies¨
Thats why i like everything so far, because it feels exactly that. And i agree, it has been done so im exited about it.
