Every motherfucker is walking back their support for Israel. Even the worst people.
Even they know it’s a genocide and want to distance themselves.

Reggie watts nailed him.

Thoughts on Thom Yorke's recent statement regarding the ongoing genocide in
Gaza

I was disappointed to see that Thom's statement centers his hurt feelings and frames his fans' demands for him to speak up as a "social media witch hunt," instead of recognizing the urgency of their call for him to speak out against the world-historical humanitarian crisis in Palestine. I hope Thom will reflect and decenter himself from the public outcry against the genocide, because if he and his artistic legacy stand for love and humanity as he asserts, he can come to see his fans' actions as an act of loving solidarity with suffering people-a needed affirmation of our humanity in these dark times.
I also want to address Thom's repetition of a common rhetorical tactic of those who are devoted to maintaining the status quo, that one cannot speak up or demand an end to the genocide unless they fully understand the deep
"complexity" of this historical conflict. I urge Thom's fans to reject this conviction-neutralizing, demobilizing sentiment and trust their hearts. You don't need to be a geopolitics scholar to know that starving children and slaughtering families is wrong. Your membership in the human family gives you authority and, indeed, responsibility to speak up. All positive change starts with conscious and loving people raising their voices and working together to bring a better world into existence. Please keep fighting until our sisters and brothers in Palestine are free.

'We cannot say we did not know.'
More than 1,200 Israeli academics have released a letter calling on the heads of Israeli academic institutions to speak out and act to stop the war on Gaza.

Gaza rescuers have said Israeli gunfire killed at least 30 Palestinians and wounded more than 100 as thousands of people headed towards a US-backed aid distribution site.

“We would never lure starving people out with food so we can slaughter them” is the new “we would never bomb a hospital”

Well there’s a shock

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has acknowledged his government has been arming a criminal gang in Gaza that has repeatedly been accused of looting humanitarian aid trucks.

So while the focus has shifted the IDF are gone on a rampage and slaughtering starving Gazans in their hundreds who showed up at the food distribution points they set up.
Expediting their final solution it seems

Meanwhile in Israel, Palestinian nurses are being locked out of bomb shelters when missle attacks are happening *by their own patients* who happen to be Israeli
Charming people. So thoughtful.

The Israeli army has murdered Palestinians trying to get food at the rate of over 100 per week over the last month. Men, women, children. In several cases they have simply shelled the throng of starving people using tanks.

Why wouldn’t homeless and on the brink of famine Gazans not want the war to end?

Yup. Why wouldn't they release the hostages? They want unending violence from Israel as their power comes from their martyrdom. Peace weakens them more than famine as famine is just other way to die for the cause.

But that tweet is just a rumor circulating right now. Would be about as good as possible outcome for this tragedy, but we'll see.

Multiple IDF soldiers and officers – most still in Gaza – detail how shells, mortars, machine guns, hand grenades, snipers and drones are used to kill starving unarmed civilians – including teens and children – as a matter of daily routine and as a matter of policy.

'It's a Killing Field': IDF Soldiers Ordered to Shoot Deliberately at Unarmed Gazans Waiting for Humanitarian Aid
IDF officers and soldiers told Haaretz they were ordered to fire at unarmed crowds near food distribution sites in Gaza, even when no threat was present. Hundreds of Palestinians have been killed, prompting the military prosecution to call for a review into possible war crimes

And if so, Israel will stop illegally bombing all its neighbouring countries right? Think it’s 6 countries they’re randomly bombing the last year or so.

They’ll stop if Hamas go away, right?
