Ah cool! If you’re serious, shoot me a dm and we can meet up! Do it early in your trip so I can show you where not to go (temple bar) and where’s great to go (everywhere else). I’ll take yis for a pint!

woke up and went for a walk, then headed downtown to grab coffee and breakfast with one of my kids - the one who loves ball and the thunder - ahead of the parade.

fun times.
glad you are safe

thanks. it turns out the base cops were doing a random vehicle check and a car falsely tested positive for an explosive device.

I’m sure I’ll hear more when I go in tomorrow.

Today is one of the those where you spill your coffee, go get another one, and then spill that one, but also it's getting to me.

Picking up the kid from school early so we can make an appointment at the US Consulate to renew her US passport. It’s quite the process when you’re abroad; hope I have all the documents etc needed.

Took the kid to her friend’s house for a play. Me and the dad snuck away to play some tennis. I haven’t played for probably a decade, but won both sets. Wasn’t too gassed either. Still got it.

Hard/synthetic. It had rained all morning, so there were some dead spots. I kept landing serves in those for easy aces.

You'll be a mythical beast at pickleball in a few years. I pray for those sad dads. Those poor bastards.
