What a magnificent ceasefire, the likes of which we’ve never seen.

He’s trying to figure out why having the world’s biggest military doesn’t equate to everyone doing what he says.
This is actually pretty scary. He will want to show his might again.

It was acknowledge by all sides. Then unacknowledged by Iran shortly before they broke it. Important lesson here for why Israel/Gaza is the way it is right now.warehouse wrote:it's almost like he just tweeted it pretending it was true. he would never do that, though

indeed, let's not forget the values and beliefs of each side, and which side actually wants peace

There are many possibilities for what has happened over the last few days.
**I AM NOT ASSERTING ANY OF THE FOLLOWING ARE ANYTHING MORE THAN THEORETICAL POSSIBILITIES**
There was some evidence of Iran moving components out of Fordow earlier last week and I believe that most US assets had been moved out of the Qatar base days before the response. The whole last week could have been scripted between the US and Iran to try and provide an exit ramp for the conflict.
Also, Israel fights in ways we the public don't understand. They call it something like 'full spectrum war' or some other ominous term. So it's possible the Iranian military and political leaders are manipulated and are being given contradictory orders and they don't know what is real since huge swaths of the high level leadership is dead. Maybe some of them got an order that said 'ceasefire' and some got an order that said 'fake them out' and maybe one or both of those came from Israel.
Or maybe Trump's advisors are lying to him to try and keep the world from exploding by his idiocy. It's happened before.
****
But it's probably exactly what it looks like.

Shocking twist: the outcome is “lose”Bi_3 wrote:The US attacking Iran would be a huge tactical mistake. Once the bunker-buster tech is demonstrated in the field one of two things will happen: either it will fail to destroy the underground development base and teach every other nation how to protect their nuke programs or it succeeds but enough data is captured by China and Russia that they will develop effective countermeasures and potentially publish them. It's lose/lose.

Both Iran and Israel are claiming “historic victories” and I’m sure Trump’s patting himself on the back too. I’m sure this is all over.

IDK if Pearl Jam is touring tonight or not, but if so, you're definitely getting Last Soldier to kick off Encore 1

The Israeli army has murdered Palestinians trying to get food at the rate of over 100 per week over the last month. Men, women, children. In several cases they have simply shelled the throng of starving people using tanks.
