Of course it was! You’re on vacation. Watching the sunrise is daily punishment for people who were funny in high school.

We were worried. The youngest Weaseling was the one that was wanting to do it. Luckily, she came to her senses last night.

Oh, it’s just the idea that if you fucked around in school and then subsequently didn’t go to college and get a degree, you’re likely doing a blue collar job outside and starting early enough to see the sun rise daily. Doesn’t really work, though. I’m a teacher and I see the sun rise from my classroom almost every day.

I don’t always get every joke right away, but this one was obvious.

Clever, and obvious.

Getting up when the sun rises is such a common occurrence for people who work, in general.

I am considering a week-long trip to Lake Michigan at the end of the summer. I was thinking of finding a good place for a couple days somewhere on the Michigan coast then work my way around to somewhere on the Wisconsin side for a few days, spending some time in Chicago and Milwaukee and day trips to Lansing and Madison mixed in.

If anyone knows any pleasant beach towns on either coast, I welcome suggestions. I'm not opposed to tent camping if any of those suggestions are for nice parks with campgrounds.

Thanks for any suggestions

It was such a throwaway comment. You guys need to blow your obviously pent up loads. Nothing to see here.
