Ghost of Yotei releasing on 2 October. Day one purchase for me; Tsushima was easily one of the best games of 2020

Sony absolutely knows when GTA is coming out. Something tells me GTA is either pushed to 2026 or it's an August or November release based on this new information.
I don't think Sony knows. They only guarantee is Borderlands 4 won't get f'd by GTA - same publisher. This is coming out a week after Borderlands 4. It's a strategic guess. A smart move.

I wrote my initial post thinking Borderlands was being released in August. It's actually September 25. GoY is safe from GTA.
Borderlands 4 release date moved up to September 12. Is GTA6 release date announcement imminent?

Black Myth Wukong coming to Xbox on August 20…one year after it came to PS.

The whole “there’s no exclusivity deal” thing looks hilarious now.

Was pretty underwhelmed by all the showcases. Xbox used up their big guns last year and are saving all their 2026 stuff apparently, although Clockwork Revolution looks sweet. Playstation’s first party studios must still be recovering from the multiplayer mandate of Jim Ryan. Keighley’s entire showcase wasn’t great.

007 game is a day one though.

They finally delayed Marathon. Indefinitely. What a mess.

Fairgames will be their next disaster.

You'd think with Microsoft practically abandoning consoles, Sony would be in a good place, but they've really shit the bed.

It’s awesome. Still some kinks to work out and additions to be made but it’s very fun.

So the dispute between Nintendo and Amazon was about 3rd party sellers on Amazon selling Nintendo games below the MSRP and Amazon was unwilling to do anything to prevent it. Bad look Nintendo.

Mass layoffs at Microsoft. Looks like Perfect Dark game is cancelled and that studio has been closed down.

Perfect Dark was one of the main reasons I bought the Xbox a few years back. Glad I sold it last year! Couldn't get into any of the exclusives....most of which appear to no longer be exclusive anymore....

No exclusives. If I had to guess, there will be no Microsoft hardware soon. There might still be XBOX, but not Microsoft XBOX. Instead there will be Lenovo XBOX, Legion XBOX, MSI XBOX, etc. We've seen how well this has worked through the years.

I remember back when people were arguing XBOX was going to have a better product than PS5. Some of the specs were convincing, but I stuck with Sony, choosing PS5 because of the backwards compatibility, having so many good PS4 games that would be improved on the new system. Glad it worked out. Life is good sometimes. Still waiting for a Bloodborne FPS upgrade though...

Silksong in two weeks is not quite a shadow drop but about the next best thing. Trailer looked great.

I never finished Hollow Knight (in fact, I have no idea how far I was into the game, could’ve just been 1/4 of the way through) but I’m still excited for Silk Song. Perfect sort of game for Game Pass because I probably wouldn’t even drop the $20 on it.

I may buy it on two different platforms for that $20 price tag.
