Finally got around to setting up my Martin Logan MT-2 5.1 surround sound system. I bought it all used off of marketplace, but man this shit sounds nice. I’ve never sat and listened to 5.1 in a true setup. So now in the loft I’ve got a 5.1 dedicated to tv, digital streaming and gaming. A seperate 2 channel system for my turntable and cassette deck. I’m researching Dolby Atmos soundbars right now to just tip this motherfucker completely. Anyone have any reviews on any?

Hoping to go $600 and under. Atleast 9.1.4 I think. And Bluetooth, no more wires up here.

How do you have the back speakers set up? On walls or on stands around a couch or something? I've never had a good furniture setup that's conducive to a solid 5.1 setup without a random speaker on a stand or exposed wires.

Haha, right now right now? They’re sitting on 2 bar stools behind me. I think I’m getting cheap stands off Amazon. It works out for me that that back side of the sitting area isn’t really a walk way or anything. This barn is from like 1892. Carriage house loft.

I can move the stands when I want to but yeah I’m not a fan of them much at all.
