Would you be nervous?
very.
Don't think less of yourself for that.
I’ll try.
There’s probably complimentary coffee.

The time I was in the normal jury pool I remember sitting there above-moderately annoyed at how many people were scrolling social media their phones with the volume on and full blast. A bold move in a room with 200 people in it.

I was also reading a book called Playing God. Figured it was apropos to the occasion.

I have it on good authority that if you throw your juror summons in the trash and never think about it again nothing will happen.

Should be interesting next time you get pulled over for a traffic violation.

That’s based on what multiple people have told me they’ve done for years.

The best legal way to get out of jury duty is to request a postponement and choose a Friday as your next date of availability. Since courts almost never choose a jury on a Friday, you will be relieved of duty when you call on the Thursday night before.
A judge told me that.
