Stand By Me by Ben E. King.

Maybe Reach Out I'll Be There by The Four Tops and Motorcycle Emptiness by Manic Street Preachers. But fuck, I love Corduroy to an absurd extent, so there are times when not even those three songs rate ahead of it for me.

Gotta go with nothing.

If Black got in the ring with any other song, it'd float like a butterfly and sting like a bee.

The only song that I like equally as much as In My Tree is the Abbey Road Medley

There are probably ones you'd like way more than that one. That's a really early one. You might prefer one of their bigger crossover hits from a few years later like A Design For Life or If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next.

I'm going to listen to that mogwai song too, since I hear people talk about them and don't know any of their music

Sometimes I find it ridiculous how perfect Corduroy is. I've probably played it more than any other song in my lifetime, and I still genuinely love it every single time I play it.

That manic street preachers song was pretty good. Not a big fan of the singer (he sounds nice, but the voice is just a bit too clean for my tastes), but the music was really good.

So that's Mogwai,is it? I'm a minute thirty into the song. Does anything ever happen?

Y'know, when you said you were gonna check them out I thought "I bet James' voice isn't growly enough for his tastes."

The album that song is from is the only Mogwai album I've heard in full and it is fucking awesome, but I could never imagine them being a "song" band. The album is definitely an experience and there aren't really any tracks you can pick out from the bunch as being significantly better than the others I guess. But yeah, Hawk Is Howling would definitely be a solid 4 star album

I really liked the music at the start and was getting really excited. Then he started singing and I though 'oh man :( '
