Significant cut-back in ordering takeout in favor of grilling at home

Fixed my leaking toilet flapper to stop wasting water

Stopped ordering shit from amazon unless it's an absolute necessity

Thetvapp.to I pay $120 a year to watch my college hockey team’s conference games, but since I’m a cord cutter (unit!), I don’t get the games on cbssports. This solves that. It’s also how my kids watch UFC for free.

The key to financial flexibility in America is buying a Toyota and driving it forever. I’m still driving an 07 Camry I bought new. Aside from regular maintenance, I have only needed the alternator replaced. I haven’t had a car payment since George W. Bush was president.

It doesn’t cost anything. I go to theapp.to on my iPad and just mirror it on my tv. You can use a web browser on Roku as well. I’ve done that, too.

Already mentioned, but cook your own meals. Get rid of your car if possible and use public transportation or bicycle, or walk instead.

this is it. cars suck, and car payments suck that much more. making a car last like that is where it’s at.

I’m still driving my 2011 Honda odyssey, also paid for. I just surpassed 245k miles, and my goal is to get another 100k.

both me and my wife not having car payments has allowed us to annually fund Roth IRAs, as well as open up and contribute to a high yield savings.

Ha my wife and I are still driving our 2011 Honda Civic and 2016 Toyota Corolla. Both paid off, both going strong. I dread someone hitting one of them someday and fucking us over into buying another car.

What's the point of having a Honda if you can't show it off?!

I feel like you might be making fun of Honda owners.

Never

I have always admired car owners, and I hope to be one myself as soon as I finish paying off Mother

She insists I pay her retroactively for the food I ate as a child

For sure. What kind of an asshole doesn’t cook their own meals. You clowns just order takeout every night?
