Last weekend my daughter started complaining of abdominal pain. The next day it didn't seem too bad so we shipped her off to school. She lasted half a day. Took her to the doctor the next day who seemed to think maybe bladder infection and put her on antibiotics. That did nothing, so tried to book her another appointment. Doctors office was full so they suggested going to the emergency department of the hospital, so yesterday spent hours at our local ED before being sent to the main hospital. Daughter was kept in over night (we both had a crap sleep) and today we find out if she needs surgery

Could be appendicitis, twisted ovary....they're still floating infection, but our GP said her antibiotic should have taken care of anything like that already.
Should be seen by Dr here soon

They appear to have landed back on infection and it looks like we'll be going home 'soon'

I think we're back to where we were on Tuesday after I took her to the GP. I just hope this doesn't get worse when we get home

Well she was feeling mostly alright when we left the hospital around 6pm and wanted Subway of all things for dinner. Had that and a wee while later put herbto bed. Less than half an hour later she was beside herself in pain crying/screaming. Managed to get that under control with a mix of meds and heat and prayer. She slept through the rest of the night and is coping so far this morning

That's exactly what I had been thinking, but then I remember when I was in hospital as a kid using emotional blackmail to get KFC from my parents. So same, same
