A few years ago I re-watched 'Temple'. Prior to watching it, I was saying it was the best of the Indian Jones movies. After watching it, I thought it kinda sucked. There were a few good scenes / moments here and there, but overall I didn't really like it.
'Last Crusade' while flawed was more enjoyable for me.
Real talk: I actually enjoyed certain parts of "Trash Humpers", in that deeply-disturbing oh-God-how-could-a-human-being-have-thought-of-this kind of way. I watched it the whole way through, when by the end of the screening about a third of the audience had walked out.

Gummo almost ruined my entire life. I can't image that I'll ever see another one of that crackpots films ever again. But I am happy that you found some something positive to take away from Trash Humpers. And I'm super proud of you for watching the whole thing. I'm one of those folks that has a hard time debating/arguing with people who walk out in the middle.
