Really lovely Indy film. Simple, moving and funny. Really liked it.

Vanilla Sky. Heard it mentioned in a podcast and realized I haven't seen it in a long time. Hope I enjoy it as much as I remember. I vaguely remember seeing the original foreign film and being tripped out by it as a young teen, and was excited to see the English remake. And then I remember liking it. I like movies like this. You know, the ones that question the nature of reality.

I loved the original back in the day and felt the remake was a very minor accomplishment. I might watch it again someday.

I love the original "Abre los Ojos" as much as the next guy.
Maybe "Abre Los Ojos" has more heart and grit, but I feel "Vanilla Sky" is an improvement on production (visually and sonically).

I forgot Cameron Crowe directed this. It has his smell all over it and I'm not a huge fan. Also Tom Cruise doesn't seem like the perfect casting choice. It's OK, but not as good as I remembered it.

OK, I cried a little at the end, when he said "I lost you when I got in that car", etc... with that Sigur Ros song playing, ... damn

Well that is a great art song and a cool scene but I don't imagine why anyone would cry to it

what did you think of that Good Vibrations needle drop? Something tells me you felt it was a great way of expressing the disorientation the character was feeling in that moment... something like that... One might even say that is the Beach Boys' "signature song", don't you think?

Thanks but don't rate us at all then. 4 stars hurts our score
