I grew up two hours outside of Philadelphia and i have no problem saying the cheesesteaks in Philly aren’t any better than any good one from anywhere else in the country. One of the most overrated colloquial pride food in the entire country

the philly classic version is too trashy

a cheesesteak can be great with better bread, grilled onions, mushrooms, a little lettuce and tomato; and real cheese

Chicago dog for sure. I’ve had some pretty damn good NY style pizza outside of NYC.

the kid has no school on friday, so we and a couple families from her class are going up to the snow in the mountains for some sledding. looking forward to the scenic drive and a fun day for the kiddos.

on saturday, we'll pick up our new puppies and spend the rest of the weekend getting them settled. exciting times for my offspring.

Going to see Michael Ian Black on Friday. Watching the UFC PPV on Saturday. Having a friend over for dinner and a movie on Sunday. Spending lots of time with my new cat all days.

Catching the last ferry from Manly? Going down under the Harbour tunnel? Having a cheeky one at The Rocks? Hitting the blowhole at Kiama? Doing the Darling Harbour? Taking a stroll from Coogee to Bondi?

Ferry to Manly and catching a drink at The Rocks is on the agenda. Bondi maybe kinda far since I’m only there for an arvo and a day.
