I got my EoE commander decks today (about a week and a half early) and got some cool cards in my sample packs:

Looks cool. I’m thinking of getting the bundle.

Nice

I bought four packs and was hoping to see one of the new spaceships. Didn’t get one but daughter got a borderless island that was cool looking.

I have to take another look, I did get some cool cards, and another of the Stellar Sights cards (but not as valuable as Ancient Tomb), plus a few of those borderless lands that look great. I ordered a pre-release kit that should come in the mail tomorrow.

I’ve incorporated a couple of EoE cards into my arena brawl deck. They work ok with the landfall stuff I have going on already:

Had some nice pulls from my EoE prerelease kit, too. This set is a ton of fun to open, way more than Aetherdrift and probably more than Tarkir, too.

Near zero interest in the Spider-Man cards, but the one pack I bought had a card with a bagel on it and that felt worth it.

I think the Spider-Man cards look great and it’s been fun to crack the packs. But yeah it seems like they’re not very popular to play with, so the value is tanking, so I’ll probably only buy singles from now on.

Really like the bonus sheet cards.

I'm finally starting to embrace the brawl format on Arena. This shit is addicting with a halfway decent deck.

I have Lathril pictured above as my commander, and I'm loaded with a bunch of other elf cards, some growth cards, and some ways that black can dig into my graveyard.

I'm winning more than a few matches, and the ones that I'm losing are still enjoyable the whole time because I'm not getting totally stomped.

The tough thing about this deck is being able to ramp Lathril enough early on, but when it gets going it feels inevitable.

I am getting a little tired of my Ureni brawl deck, but not sure what I want to do next. Maybe dinosaurs. It’s been fun staying away from the meta decks (i.e. no aggro red or mill decks) but I do have trouble against aggro decks if I don’t have like 6 mana by turn 4.

Hmm I might have to try brawl. I’ve always wanted to try commander. Your commander card there is cool. I’ve always liked the menace keyword

On a separate note, anyone having a hard time finding Edge of Eternities play boosters? I haven’t seen any since I bought a few packs the first weekend they came out.

They're still pretty widely available here. So much so that I've bought my last pack for the set and will only be buying singles now. My best pulls were Ancient Tomb; Uthros, Titanic Godcore; and Cosmogrand Zenith.

I'm also done buying Spider-Man boosters. Man, these are just not packed with value. I love the set for aesthetics but the most valuable card I pulled is only worth like $6. Still like the set I'm building, though, and will continue to buy until ECL comes out in January.

My local store has been out of EoE since shortly after launch.

However, I found some EoE and Final Fantasy boosters in a small town Walmart while picking up Zyrtec last weekend.

I only include the Zyrtec detail because that brand totally sounds like the name of a legendary Planeswalker.

lol, it does! That will be a future UB set…..product placement names

Also, I have no plans to purchase any UB sets. They don’t interest me. Maybe the D&D back in the day since it is pretty Magic-adjacent. But that was before I started playing.

What I wouldn't give for a time machine to go back and learn this game back in the Alpha days.

UB cards as a new collector are kind of what I'm stuck with outside of Arena.

I do really like some of the older paper sets I still have access to at my local store, though.

Ixalan, Bloomburrow, Tarkir...

More of this stuff in the future, please.
