We just started Better Things this morning. Pamela Adlon is the lead and also writes/produces it. She was best known to me as the voice of Bobby on King of the Hill. Her character seems to be at least somewhat based on her in that she’s a working actress, both live action and voice work. She’s raising three girls and a couple of episodes in, these kids are fucking spot-on for their ages. For anyone raising girls at this point in time, you’ll definitely appreciate this show. I also never really knew what Adlon looked like. Bobby Hill is pretty fucking hot.
Let me tell you, Homer Simpson is cock of nothing!

This is one of my favorite shows ever. I don’t know when Deidrich Bader’s character is introduced, but he’s the best. He’s like Funkhauser on Curb - just steals every scene he’s in.

Adlon is great, too. She was good on Louie and Californication.

That’s good to hear. Bader hasn’t shown up yet, but we’re still very early into it.

JCVJ, starring JCVD. What a beautiful, wonderful show. Also kinda sad.

Wonder when the second season is coming out ... Oh this is show is ten years old and cancelled after one season. Fuck.

I hate Prime.

But honestly it ended great and another would have just ruined it.

Probably could have been 8 episodes, but I enjoyed this overall. Definitely enhanced by a wonderful cast.

Not one dadgum clue what to watch next...

The Paper has gotten better as it goes on, I think we’re on ep 5 or so. Greg? Daniels knows how to make you care about his characters. They have like three tense romances going at once too.
