I had to google what was going on earlier and it led me to a fox news article that quoted a florida man: "Yeah, I think Cracker Barrel is fixing to Bud Light themselves." that, friends, made me snort

I think because they thought the old man who was removed from the logo was the "cracker," and that made them feel unseen.

Actually it's just an old man leaning on a barrel made for storing and shipping crackers.

The same reason they're mad about everything - the media told them to be. If cable news disappeared overnight a lot of this griping would evaporate immediately. Nobody's getting mad about the cracker barrel logo on their own.
