2 or more songs that remind you of each other

Post songs that remind you of other songs.

Every sentence in my head, someone else has said.

I don’t want to get the videos but the most obvious example to me was Led Zeppelin’s Babe I’m Gonna Leave You and Chicago 25 or 6 to 4.

That's so funny, I've never once associated those songs together. And I LOVE one and really don't like the other.

I just recorded a podcast about Bruce Springsteen during which I sort of surprised myself with the epiphany that "Born to Run" reminds me a lot of Darlene Love's "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)"

When I was a kid, there was a part of the STP song "Art School Girl" that gave me a sense of musical deja vu -- I had no idea what it was but every time I heard it, it instantly sent me ricocheting back to some vague childhood memory that I couldn't quite put my finger on. The specific part is the wordless da-da-da-da melody that Weiland sings at 1:51:

I realized some years later that this was due to the melody's reminiscence of a similar melody that is used in the song "Shattered Dreams" by Johnny Hates Jazz, a one-hit wonder from the late '80's that I used to hear on the radio all the time as a kid. The melody in this song appears at 0:35:

The songs aren't similar but for this reason they definitely remind me of each other.

Led Zeppelin: Wanton Song

Rage Against the Machine: Vietnow

Tom Morello has acknowledged the riff was greatly influenced by it...

Can't Stop the Feeling (especially the bridge before the last chorus)

Theme from Fraggle Rock

Once I found a mashup of these very songs online but I think the copyright gods smote it.

Nevermind I found something like it:

Same, but I never would have made that connection and love both songs. Interstate Love Song using the same chord progression as Jim Croce’s I’ve Got A Name, on the other hand, I can’t not hear now.

Kings of Leon California Waiting and Kings of Leon Sex on Fire

Actually, just any Kings of Leon song sounds the same as any other. Kind of feel the same way about The Black Keys.
