Is that why you waited a month to tell us, you wanted to wait until the original planned due date?

Is that why I waited this long to post about it on RM? I'm not sure.

Her planned due date was the 24th of August.

If you don't post a back to school picture on social media does it even happen?

This is still happening and finally happened at school yesterday. They were super cool about it, but I’m assuming if it occurs a couple more times, there will be some concern brought to us. And fair enough.

The kid can’t seem to offer up and explanation, and I’ve seen it happen a few times. There’s no hiding out in the corner pushing it out, it just comes like incontinence. We made a doctor’s appointment for after school today to see if they can help, could be built up constipation which she’s had before.

Between this and the new puppies, my life has been literal piss and shit for two weeks. Over it!

It may be because of the puppies, kids regress during big changes.

I had the same thought, but it started before that. But not long after my sister’s family and her two cousins stayed with us for a few weeks, which changed routines plenty.

Doctor has diagnosed chronic constipation, which she had when she was two. Back to daily doses of Miralax and tracking poos.

Poor thing. It’s probably embarrassing for her. She’ll get through it soon.

We’ve had a step back with our 5 y/o coming home w wet pants a few times recently. She was pretty much totally potty trained. I think it’s a reluctance to ask to use the bathroom.

That can also be a sign of constipation, as the hardened poo puts pressure on the bladder. Hopefully not that for yours, but thought I’d mention. It’s pretty common at this age as they eat a lot of carbs and stuff.

She’s pretty regular but good to know. We give her too many snacks in the morning hours.

Snacking has become too much of regular thing for kids. In my day we ate our meals and maybe a snack here or there. Now you can’t leave the house for an hour without barrage of snacks.

True dat. If the glovebox snack stash is depleted and we’re out and about, look out.
