I used to prep for days or weeks. Now I’m lucky if I log on in time for my first pick.

I’m seriously considering trying the streaming defense strategy this year. Have any of you ever done it?

Yeah it’s hit or miss and some weeks won’t present a great option. Still it’s as good a plan as any unless you can land one of the few elite D’s.

I have here and there, and will be this year. DEF's are too fickle from a fantasy standpoint. Great defense on the field doesn't necessarily mean top points.

Plus this year I thought there were too many good position player options to pass up as potential trade pieces or injury plug ins.

I’ve been doing it for years, very solid imo. I tend to pick a D based on how terrible the offense they’re playing will be.

Yep...you have any other options for week 1? Not a good matchup for the Giants...

Yeah they have a good matchup. You could of course just not play a D and take the automatic 5 points.

Couple guys in our league have these defenses and are going head to head only a few points apart, so the negative defensive scores are making it interesting.
