what did you cook?
Walnut & Aubergine Stew

Also a fresh slaw on the side with red cabbage, carrots, cilantro, and other tasty tastes
How was the stew? The recipe looks good but Persian food is generally disgusting
It was really great. It uses pomegranate molasses, and I was worried it would end up sweet but it didn't at all. That really gave it a nice tangy kick and the other flavor that shone through was the spiciness of the cinnamon. It was good

Persian food is great, especially when pomegranate molasses is involved.

Stuffed grape leaves (yabra) are pretty great.

I don't know much about Persian food specifically, is there anything that separates it from other Middle Eastern cuisines? I love Lebanese food a lot

A more abundant use of fruits, specifically with meats.

Been having problems with our internet lately, just dropping out for a few seconds every couple of minutes. My wife and I both work remotely, so it was becoming problematic. Yesterday, our modem just completely quit in the middle of the work day. So after some frantic research, I ran out and dropped about $250 on a new modem to get us back up and running.

Afterwards, was doing some more reading and apparently in the 7 years we've been using the old modem, there have been some major advances in them. Our shit is purring now!

The same modem for seven years?! Xfinity upgrades mine like every two years.

I use my own because spectrum charges a monthly fee to rent theirs, which ends up being like $150/year.

My Google WiFi has been running pretty smoothly on the same modem for the past 5 or so years I'd say.
