A sandwich that has become one of my favorite lunches: an everything bagel with cream cheese, avocado, a little lime juice and sea salt, mortadella, and tomato. Delicious.

i just got into an argument with a colleague and was accused (jokingly) of being anti-Semitic because i don't care for bagels at all (just a clump of boiled bread).

bagels would be better if you dug out some of the bread and made trenches for the toppings. more feast, less yeast.

that's exactly right. bread is a vessel, not a meal in itself.

bagels are awesome, but i will agree they're a bit much as a sandwich. best toasted with a smear of cream cheese.

The kale atop my chili scrambled eggs was actually somehow delicious. Perfectly crispy without drying out, and I don’t know what they fried it in, but it had legit flavor.
