Meg Washington released her album "Gem" recently, and its OK. Not groundbreaking, but nice enough. I do love her voice. But this song with Paul Kelly is something else and I can't stop playing it. They used it in the "How to Make Gravy" film to excellent effect. Think it might be my hopeful song of the moment:

Slipping right into my "Workday Certified" music selection is Phil Cook's album "Appalachia Borealis". Quite gorgeous down-beat piano tunes, produced by Justin Vernon. Bit jazzy, gorgeous background.

Andy Bell (of Oasis and Ride) released "Pinball Wanderer" this year and I love it. Guitars and synths - what could go wrong. Upbeat and interesting, good stuff.
