I want to see them do an album and tour and not introduce the drummer at all. Just don’t make any kind of attention about it all.
Let me tell you, Homer Simpson is cock of nothing!

If they are recording with Andrew Watt then Chad Smith is the obvious choice.
He’s in the studio with Watt constantly

Re: Next Drumoise
I’m not a drummer but the drums on Animal and Why Go sound similar. Animal gets a bit more funky towards the end.joostone wrote:Krusen sure is letting everybody know he's available. Bring back Dave K

What about Steve Gorman formerly of the Black Crowes. Perhaps he is available as a dark horse pick.

Im kind of surprised we have't heard anything yet, it's been quite a while since Matt Cameron left. I wonder when and how they're going to announce it?

I think they might not announce anything. Make a record w someone, tour w someone (maybe the same person), no one is getting added, everything stays unofficial

There’s something really beautiful about these 4 mofos needing to find another drummer. Nostalgia is a helluva drug.

Re: Next Drumoise
I've been thinking about it, and I think the thing I want most of all from a new drummer is a new influence on the band's songwriting; don't really care what influence atm (I'm not fussy about drumming style anymore as PJ is so far out of my wheelhouse at this point), as long as it shakes them up and brings something fresh

Re: Next Drumoise
I think we're going to get a worker-for-hire that does Ed's bidding and plays a professional and technically sound style but introduces no personal or artistic influence into the band.
