True. I bet she followed it up with some Murder She Wrote.

I was out taking my evening stroll and as I got about a mile out, I heard some loud booms and a bright light in the western skies. I hurriedly walked back toward my apartment to see what all the ruckus was about. Apparently near one of those shitty new apartment complexes, a car hit a tree, and this somehow caused a gas line to rupture. It sent a towering fountain of flame all the way to the third or fourth floor and torched the tree. Not sure about the driver of the car. They shut down the power in the entire neighborhood.

Don't worry, I'm safe.

I'm going to guess he's most happy about a Costello one, and least happy about one of those The Who ones.

Happiest: The Cure Trilogy, strong sentimental attachment to it, bought it when I was 16 with money I earned writing English essays for kids in the grade below mine. The whole show was already on YouTube but it's nice to be reunited with the actual object. Not sure why I put it in storage instead of keeping it with my other DVDs.

Least happy: definitely the Green Day and Oasis ones. The Green Day one is just a music video compilation, and the Oasis one is a documentary about Definitely Maybe that I will never rewatch. I have two other Oasis DVDs that are live shows -- Familiar to Millions and Live By the Sea -- and they're both much better.

Those Who shows are good, they are proper concert films. For a long time that was the definitive version of Tommy to me, and I was kind of disappointed when I heard the album version. Sounded too flimsy.

Phil Collins plays Uncle Ernie in the live show and is awesome

I’m sitting in the waiting room of a radiology clinic chugging water to properly fill my bladder for an ultrasound. Hopefully soon, I’m taking my kid bowing in an hour.
