Thing is, i knew the guy from the movies and i became a fan. I was what 7 when that movie came out? and i had a friend who had an older brother who had them, and had It, The Stand and others...i was obsessed dude. I finally got my mom to buy those two under the arrangement that i wasnt ¨going to be scared at night¨

pff yeah mom whatever just give them to me!!! of course i was afraid at night but i managed to look super cool the other morning so it seemed ok.

Well done.

I was definitely more into the films at first, too. That was my introduction to the mind of Stephen King, for sure. I think the first book of his that I read was actually Eyes of the Dragon.

Dude i had to stop the Pet Sematary movie just when Zelda appeared. That was my limit. I went to bed and finished the movie the other day at noon, my mom saw it and got mad at me because of what i rented.

Operation Mincemeat. There's not much else I find more interesting of late than this World War II spy sh*t
And they say that a hero could save us
I'm not gonna stand here and wait

Just finished Griffin Dunne’s memoir - really fantastic stuff, and i highly recommend the audiobook which he reads himself. It’s always a mixed bag when authors decide to do their own audiobooks, even for memoirs, but this one and Careless People (another good memoir from this past year) really benefit from the voices of the authors.
