It was funny around episode three when I saw they were using hard rock transitions into the credits. I thought to myself animal go and do the evolution would be perfect for this. I was so pumped when I heard animal in the finale..

I feel like AI could make a new cover for Vs. with the Oculus Goat on it, but I lack the appropriate prompt skills.

Want me to walk you through how to create a cover in the style of Pearl Jam’s Vs. with the sheep?

Gemini won't even do this:

Give me picture of white goat with electrical leads on its head and a very bloody left eye trying to chew through a wire fence

I wouldn't say pointless, but the magnitude of cliff-hang was egregious. Maybe Noah is trying to drive interest through outrage in order to secure a second season. The show was ludicrously expensive to make, and S2 hasn't yet been greenlit. At any rate, we're probably looking at a two year minimum turnaround. FUCK.

I still think this season was amazing through 5 episodes, but it definitely tapered off towards the end there.

In more positive news, Alvarez is producing the next film in the Romulus timeline, and has cited the ability to prevent the killing-off of Rain and Andy as a motivator. Those characters rule, and so does he.

Obligatory fuck you, Ruddo, that movie slaps.

I agree with Elio. This was about 5-10 minutes short of a full story. A cliffhanger isn't just chopping off the resolution of your story, and that appears that's what this did.

You could have ended this story and still left things open for a sequel. Have the boys kill their prisoners, or abandon them, or feed them to the xenomorph. Have the leave the island or kill Wutani's soldiers. Something. End the story.

This was just the end of episode 8, and I have to wait 18 months or something for episode 9.

I loved this episode right up until Animal kicked in.

Its been rumored that Fede Alvarez quit the Romulus sequel because he wanted to use the David character and Ridley say no, because he is the one who wants to use it.

Well see what happens with that sequel, it might turn into another stand alone.

If the dude cant do whatever he wants, its better he dropped out of the project. I also think the alien franchise works better with new guys coming in, Ridley being the only exception to that rule.
