yeah, to me the problem isn't so much the hidden fees. hell, i don't even have a problem with the dynamic pricing (that's an artist decision that can easily be eliminated). it's the access to tickets of scalpers. the stupid queue f's everything up which scalpers are able to circumvent.
yeah the conflicts of interest with affiliated brokers or pay to play arrangements with scalpers is gross
and the apparent ease of access by bots to come scoop tickets for normies on the site is berry frustrating for hoomans
i just hope that somewhere in these layers of fees, Boom is getting a 401K match

It really is quite the comparison to sports. I hear people bitching about really high concert ticket prices when they are about the same a a good seat to your average Tuesday night Mariner game. The difference is you can get a nosebleed pretty cheap for most games.
Overall compared to good seats at sports I would agree that good concert tickets are not actually that expensive.
