I’d really like to visit Greece in June with my family. I’d also like to hop over to Cairo to see the pyramids.

If I have two weeks, I’m thinking Athens, Mykonos, Naxos, and Santorini between June 16 and 26. Cairo from the 26th to the 29th. Depart Athens on the 30th. Right now those flights (from Minneapolis and between Athens and Cairo) run about $6k total for 4 people. Can I get accommodations and ferries and obviously a fucking camel ride for another $6k?

Doesn’t bother me. I’m not retired. My wife and I are both teachers. We don’t have the luxury of being able to travel in October and April.

Porto has KILLED my legs and feet. So much walking, so many hills and fucking cobblestones.

Sitting in Lisbon now drinking the pain away.

Had a lovely stay in Puerto Varas in Chile. Very nice little town near the lake. Came back to Bariloche now to visit my sister with my mom.

Returning to Buenos Aires tomorrow night.

Lots and lots and lots of Super Bock. We had some coffee liquor in Cudillero (a type of Orujo) that was killer. Need more of that in my life.

Lisbon's been great. In Sintra today - crazy tourist day but enjoyable enough. I think Porto is the pick of my (admittedly limited) Portuguese cities though.

Ronda in Andalusia is really beautiful. But I almost fucked up right royally with the hire car driving to our hotel in the old town. Tiny "streets" lots of pedestrians and a clueless tourist driver all combined in my nearly having to ask a local how TF to get out. Got there in the end but did not need that stress at all.

After such an easy lovely drive here it was quite the drama. On the road to Seville now. Only 4 sleeps left on this adventure!

Our one afternoon (and night) in Seville has been just perfect. What a gorgeous city. Probably helps with how many beers I've had, but it's like today was written for us both on a post card. Bueno Bueno.

Spent the last week in Savannah, GA. Despite fighting with some sickness and not the best weather, I really enjoyed my time. It's a good place for a solo trip, which I'd like to do more of. Kinda. hashtag lonelyintroverti'mamani'mforty

Maybe. I dunno. Is still lonely, but what do you do. I'd do better with a full group tour trip, which is what I'd like to do in Europe.
