I am a little surprised that, given I always thought this board jumped on anything Wilco related like white on rice, that there’s been no discussion of the Jeff Tweedy album. I sacrificed my morning commute commitment to the studio albums thread to give it a listen this morning. So far I think it’s really good - at least as I listen to disc 1.

I’ve been meaning to listen, but I can’t break away from the new Geese album.

I’ve been playing it virtually nonstop the last few days.

I hadn’t paid much attention to them prior to this one, but Taxes pulled me in, and it was all over from there.

Getting Killed might be my favorite thing released this year.

The new Geese and Tweedy records are excellent. Haven't listened to anything else since last Friday.

I listened to the new Taylor Swift album and it is just fucking atrocious. Maybe her worst so far. She can't even write hooks anymore (Max Martin was involved in making this?!) and the lyrics are truly pathetic.

The new Waylon Jennings is really good. Lost songs from 74-??? I forget. They used musicians that a tully played with him to finish the music. Wonderful album.
