The update thread in the forum was locked due to off-topic posting. That was like 5 days ago, and not a peep since.

was gone for the weekend and came back to see a bunch of data had been uploaded, and i have downloaded a few things from red this afternoon with no hiccups, so hopefully the worst is over.

Not sure--I'd start by trying to log in on a different device, maybe using mobile data or a different network, to see if it's just your IP address or your account.

I hadn't logged on to redacted in a few months and you just prompted me to. Good timing too since I have 25 tokens that expire in a week.

I feel like the golden age of music torrent trackers has passed. The community just doesn’t seem as dedicated as it once was. We’re on the third generation of trackers and I feel like most of the zealots from the early days have moved on.

Redacted is still pretty strong in my opinion, Orpheus is alright but not quite as extensive.

Streaming along with the availability of cloud storage definitely had an overall negative effect on the scene I'd say.

What CD was the gold standard. They’ve now been gone as long as they were around (9 years) which is crazy to think about.

I mean, all private trackers are ratio based in some capacity just some more lenient than others.

I hear a seedbox up 24/7 takes a lot of worry/effort out of ratio maintenance at a site like Redacted. And additional op sec is an added bonus.

Or so I hear.

I’ve never needed a seeebox, it was dodgy in the beginning when I was still torrenting using a DSL connection on the family computer, but haven’t had any trouble since.
