I sacrificed my morning commute commitment to the studio albums thread to give it a listen this morning. So far I think it’s really good - at least as I listen to disc 1.
I’ve been meaning to listen, but I can’t break away from the new Geese album.

I'm not a huge Wilco guy generally but for some reason I have a hard time gravitating towards triple albums these days. My attention span is for shit.

It’s good, but it is a long time to exist in a single vibe.

I’ve been playing it virtually nonstop the last few days.

I hadn’t paid much attention to them prior to this one, but Taxes pulled me in, and it was all over from there.

Getting Killed might be my favorite thing released this year.

I made it most of the way through track one then had to switch to something else.

But I do want to give it another shot soon.

The new Geese and Tweedy records are excellent. Haven't listened to anything else since last Friday.

I listened to the new Taylor Swift album and it is just fucking atrocious. Maybe her worst so far. She can't even write hooks anymore (Max Martin was involved in making this?!) and the lyrics are truly pathetic.

The new Waylon Jennings is really good. Lost songs from 74-??? I forget. They used musicians that a tully played with him to finish the music. Wonderful album.
