Well, holy shit.

That was just... wow. Wow! This girl is how old? I can't even handle how talented she is. That was a brilliant episode. And I'm not speaking in hyperbole.

please explain. i'm genuinely interested. i thought season 1 was close to perfect television. as i wrote on the previous page, i really like the episode entitled "it's a shame about ray." that said, i thought this week was a steaming pile of shit once it left the coffee shop. it was just hannah playing house with a rich guy and then realizing that she wants to have material things and a man who makes her happy. big fucking epiphany. her character has become so unlikeable that the show is becoming a chore for me to watch. also, if it was the girl playing marney who was naked in every shot, it would be tiresome by now. we get it, ms. dunham. you're a bit overweight and you don't give a shit. we really don't either. so tuck your pooch into your shorts and get back to exploring the characters you've created.

Her outfit annoyed me so much I actually had to turn the episode off on Sunday. Finished it last night it ended up being pretty good.

I enjoyed this week's episode but I missed some of the other characters. I wonder if her taking time to leave in the house after Josh(ua) went to work was to think about how selfish and unlikeable she can be. Maybe a sign of some growth? Let's hope.

As soon as the episode ended I looked at my wife and she said, "people are going to hate this." And I said, "Yep. It's this show's "The Fly."

A really good "bottle episode" of Sopranos.

I've never seen an episode of this show, but I'm really curious as to why nearly everyone I know seems to hate it.

No snark intended, but is it a good episode of Sopranos, or just a good bottle episode of Sopranos?

I think it's a good example of a well-done bottle episode, and it's also a really good episode in general. Very entertaining.

Good to know. Wikipedia says it's in the third season of Sopranos. I'll look forward to it. Hopefully, I'll start watching that show from beginning to end in the next couple of weeks.

You don't watch Girls, do you, Jorge?

From the season trailer I saw, it doesn't look bad.

I'd say it was the series peak of Sopranos. It was a slow downhill after that.

I have a weird feeling you'll really dislike it, too. I'm really not sure why. Just a hunch. But you should check it out. Maybe you'll prove me wrong.
