if only pj fans maintained 1/10 the athletic prowess of this band

at age 50-60 these guys dialing up the ultimate

while the fat fucks in black T’s stand in the merch line

this band deserves a better audience

Backspacer on vinyl at Universal City in ‘09 and a T-shirt in Golden Gate Park in ‘95 are the only things I’ve bought at a Pearl Jam concert outside of a beer or two.

Looks like Ed played a couple songs last night (Just Breathe, Hard Sun) at something called Belly Up Aspen.

Awesome venue. Seen a ton of great bands there. I used to live just over the mountain. Damn.

This is a wonderful interview with Stone by author (and Stone's former March of Crimes bandmate) Jonathan Evison:

Yeah. Stone really seemed to have a good time talking to him.

Sounds like quitting pot has fueled some sort of renaissance within him.

Only 90 seconds in… imagine being the guy who introduced Stoney to Andy Wood and also being the guy who allegedly kicked Stoney out of a band.

Stoney yeah thats how most seattle folks called him during the 90s. I remember Jeff and Ed at least in the band calling him that in the 90s.

That podcast was so good. Lots of talks about so many seattle musicians! Shawn, Green River, PJ...that was very cool. Interesting to know Stone was still doing pot regulary.

I wish Ed would still give more attention to whatever Stone gives to him. It was interesting how Andy Wood worked behind his riffs and i remember when stone released his solo song Near, that it was a demo he send to Ed, and he didnt paid that much attention to it, and its a fucking wonderful song.

Stone also has two phenomenal solo albums in Bayleaf and Moonlander. That, and Ed did work behind Stone’s riffs on Ten and much of Vs.

Watching Cameron's last show. Like McCready's 'Vote for Soundgarden' shirt.

It is kind of amazing, Ed sounds absolutely atrocious during Hunger Strike and in all fairness most of it wasn't written for him to sing but he makes odd choices these days and then to follow-up with an absolutely spot-fucking-on Do the Evolution... just a random note.

Is Matter of Time an Ed only movie or is it full band? What cities is it playing in?

These multicam full concerts on YouTube are impressive.
