The two artists that put out some of my absolute favorite albums this year collaborating on a new song on the upcoming Oklou deluxe album? Yes please.

The Antlers are an indie rock band known for their emotionally charged, atmospheric music that blends beauty with despair. Key characteristics include Peter Silberman's distinctive vocals, which range from hushed whispers to soaring falsetto, intricate lyrics, and a dynamic use of instrumentation that can be intimate and sparse or expansive and layered with elements like piano, horns, and electronics.

Ps: check the album, you wont regret
I'm like 5 songs into this record, and I'm really liking it. Scratches similar itches to Iron & Wine, Elliott Smith and Jeff Buckley (all in very different ways, though, which is rad).

Thanks for the rec!

Alright the new record from The Last Dinner Party is outstanding.

It's my personal favorite album of the year so far.

I adore their first record and this one MIGHT be better. A little early to say but it's strong

Also, listening to the Haley Williams album that came out in August... Fuck me!

It's unreal good! I like her stuff in general but this one hits especially hard. I know I just said that The Last Dinner Party record was my favorite of the year but I hadn't heard this one.

Hell yes!

That's the one I added to my "favorite" of the year playlist that I make for each year.

Not sure if anyone here is into that Easy Eye Sound label stuff or the boogie rock reminiscent of T Rex, or even modern Auerbach/Black Keys, but If so, Miles Kane’s Sunlight in the Shadows I found quite enjoyable.

I am listening now in the background. What indeed. My recollection is I liked Innerspeaker, and it’s been a slow decent since then. The impala has indeed become tame. Perhaps it’s time for an animated Corolla.

Bleak Squad are a new Aussie "supergroup" consisting of Adalita Srsen (Magic Dirt), Mick Harvey (The Birthday Party, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, PJ Harvey), Mick Turner (Dirty Three, Mess Esque), and Marty Brown (Art of Fighting). They released their debut album "Strange Love" this year. I've been really getting into its slow grooves lately and the single Lost My Head has been getting quite a bit of airplay. But my fave tune is Safe as Houses here for your listening pleasure.
